Here we go

I am about to leave for the airport to fly to French Polynesia. It's been a hectic past day or so, added to by a 4.2 earthquake on the Hayward Fault that woke me up at 4:50 in the morning, as if to remind me of what I might miss least about California. The last load of laundry is drying, and Erica will be here at 5 to drive me to San Francisco. I'm really excited, but the reality of what I'm about to do hasn't quite hit me yet...
