Davidia

I used to be envious of people whose names were contained inside the scientific names of other organisms, but I just discovered that there is a plant genus called Davidia! It used to be in its own family, Davidiaceae, but the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group has sunk that into the larger Cornaceae (which contains hazelnuts and the like). I could use this as grounds to argue against the principle of monophyly in classification, but I don't think anyone would take me very seriously.
